Why wooden gates are a must for gardens ?

One of the most significant reasons to have a wooden gate in your garden is to mark the territory as your own.

That is to mark out a clear outline around your place, this thinking potentially goes back to the times of old with fortresses around castles.

Enough of the psychology any way I am sure you get the picture! Today though the necessity for an outline for your garden is just a mannered reminder to passers buy this is your land and a wooden gate also gives you an entrance to that.

A well-tended garden with a pleasant wooden gate also keeps up the appearance of your house and indeed your community which deters would be vandals. Have you puzzled why certain areas have tons of graffiti and damaged windows? One of the most significant reasons is usually because folk have stopped caring and things don't get fixed or kept in order. This sends out the signal that vandalism is ok in this area, so instead why not send out a signal that your area is respect by having a wonderful garden and a wooden gate to complement it.

Of cause I do not mean chain the garden gate so that no-one can get out, that is a sure fire way of getting the neighbours talking.not to say getting you a swift trip to a courtroom! The wanted guests that you may need to keep in are youngsters of your own or children who are guests playing in your back garden. A taller timber gate might also be too large for a little kid to get to the latch on which makes doubly certain they won't be going and getting themselves lost.

Pets How irritating would it be if you did not have a wooden gate in your garden and you had to go running after your dog every couple of mins. It also implies that so long as you do not mind getting your pooper scooper out now and again that you can leave your dog free to go in the garden whilst you watch coronation street! This saves you having to go for the scary long evening walk with the dog each night.

On the opposite side of the wooden garden gate you also need to keep stray pets from rambling into your garden. It's one thing getting the pooper scooper out sometimes for your own dog but it is another thing completely clearing up after each dog on the block! Animals could also stray into your garden to eat your plants if there is no wooden gate there either.

What's the final reason all gardens should have a wooden gate?

Well the final reason is they are too inexpensive not too! Metal or iron gates have a tendency to be quite dear though wooden gates can be made quite decorative from the simplest of designs.
