A bouquet of flowers deserves a proper and beautiful arrangement in its own container. Start by preparing the needed materials such as a flower vase, a pair of scissors, tap water and your choice of a flower preservation solution. Remove wrapping materials that came with the flowers to allow them to breathe. Take care not to bruise the petals when doing this.
The preservation solution for flowers is a chemical substance that can be bought in any garden shop or supermarket. It clears the water from bacteria that could be harmful to the flowers. As an alternative to the said solution, you could choose to use instead the regular household bleach. It enables the flowers to bloom, apart from removing the bacteria in the water.
Cut the end tip of each stem about 1 inch in length. Do this at an angle because in this way, the stems are able to absorb more water. Remember likewise to remove the leaves that will otherwise just be submerged in the water. Arrange the flowers however you wish then fill the vase with treated tap water up until the level is about 1 inch from the mouth of the vase.
Some people still use additives such as vinegar as well as aspirin to further prolong the life of the flowers. Both reduce the pH level of water, prevent bacteria and help the stems absorb more water. Crush a piece of aspirin to make it into powder form and then pour into the bottom of the flower vase even before putting in the flowers and treated water.
Always remember to replace the water everyday to avoid fungi growth. When using a floral foam, make sure to also refill the vase with water everyday.
Receiving fresh blooms from online flowers delivery shop is an experience to be treasured. Enjoy the sight of fresh flowers longer by giving them the right kind of care they deserve, just as what an expert florist would do. (7490)
