Helpful Ideas On Which Kinds Of Flowers To Send Soon After A Date

What types of flowers to send after a date depends on what sort of date it was. A first date has different rules than a date that was game changing or perhaps moved your relationship to a new level. So you need to spend a little time to make the message just right.

If you are just happy that things went well and that another date might be in the offing, then keep it small and sweet. No lush bouquets that scream unending passion unless of course you want to scream unending passion. Are you sure she or he wants to know about your passion just yet?

If you want to produce a smile rather than a swoon then daisies are a safe bet or perhaps sunflowers. Of course you can increase the impact with larger containers and greater numbers of blooms. But casual is more likely understood if your flowers are understated.

Casual does not mean that you go out and grab a bunch of dandelions from the roadside and dump them in a jar. That is what kids bring to their teacher. Stick with the florist. You want the message to be noticed for the right reasons, not the wrong ones.

If you are trying to say more than thank you then the size and style of container can be more elegant. The number and choice of blooms can be more flamboyant. The more important the date, the more elaborate the bouquet.

The language of flowers can convey some very specific feelings. Romance and roses go back generations. Orchids have been considered special for centuries and are now quite within most budgets. Peonies can communicate passion with deep colors, large containers and masses of blossoms.

You can always write a little something to make sure your sentiments are clear. Included with the presentation, that note can make sure your intentions are not misconstrued one way or another. Yet, container, number of blooms and color will play their part too. An appropriate mix of those elements does the trick.

So, when it comes to what types of flowers to send after a date, it often depends on what kind of a date. Keep the container and choice of blooms casual a first date thank you or move on up the scale of grandeur if the occasion merits it. One thing is for sure. You will not be disappointing anyone no matter what bouquet or arrangement you send. Flowers never disappoint. Never.
